Bitcoin Price Falls, Then Stabilizes - The Wall Street Journal

A selloff in bitcoin has ended weeks of relative calm for the world's largest cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin dipped below $26,000 late Thursday, before regaining some ground early on Friday.

It recently traded at about $26,194—a roughly 8% drop from where it traded at 5 p.m. ET in the previous session.

The digital currency had been slipping earlier this week, after trading late last week at about $29,400.
