A price war has erupted on Apple's upgraded 16-inch MacBook Pro with 1TB of storage, as Amazon and B&H Photo compete for your business leading up to Prime Day.

The $250 cash discount on Apple's current 16-inch MacBook Pro applies to the Space Gray M1 Pro model with a 16-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory and 1TB of storage — double that of the 512GB found in the standard model.

At press time, B&H Photo and Amazon are discounting the upgraded config to $2,449, the lowest price seen in 30 days.

Both retailers have units in stock and ready to ship, beating Apple's delivery window by two to three weeks. B&H is including free expedited shipping within the contiguous U.S., and Payboo cardholders in eligible states can save on sales tax, potentially putting another $200 back in your pocket.
